Costing for my music video
Michael Jackson ft Janet Jackson- Scream.
Director : Mark Romanek; $7,000,000
Apparently, the King of Pop also must get the nickname King of Video. All costs of issuance super, comparable to the quality of the final result and the immortality of his work. To “Thriller”: $ 1.4 million. “Black or White” and “Remember the Time” more than $ 3 million. And for a duet with her sister, she was willing to waste the cost of super.

Choreographer for my music video: Frank Gatson £1.5 million
£5 million for 2 well-known actors.
£7 million for camera crew.
£6 million for the sound crew.
£2000 for studio lighting
£50,000 for prop
Electrical: £2,500 per week
Equipment hire: £5000 per week
Construction of sets: £15,000 per set Basic
Location costs: £50,000 per scene Travel/transport
Editing suite: £10,000 per day
Editor: £10,000 per day
Sound editor: £8,000 per day
I will get funding for my music video from music companies such as MTV. This will be effective for my music video because I will be able to create a high budget video which will be shown on Tv for the public to see. This will be effective because it will help my artist gain a repetition in the music industry. Getting funding for my music video is also effective because having a high budget makes the more flexible the making of the video will be because they will be able to plan more ideas for the music video.

Houses, piano, chair, doors, cars. These will be effective for my music video because they are all part of what the artist will use or see.
Locations:
Road, dark room.... These locations will be effecive because they are where the audience will see the artist preform and the location of a dark room is effective becuase the audience will be able to focus more on the artist.

Editing.
A editing technique i will use in my music video is slow paced editing. This will be used to demonstrate the full emotions of the artist in the music video. This is effective for my audience because they will be able to build a strong relationship with the audience also they will be able to see how passionate the artist is about music. Also the editing will be effective for my music video because the audience will be able to see how they work with the lyrics. For example the song is about my arist going home. So in the music video I could have slow paced editing of my artist walking down a road. This will be effective because the audience will be able to see how the lyrics contrdict what is going on in the music video.
Another editing technique that i will use is natural editing. This will be effective in my music video because the audience will see how good the artist is on a piano. This is also effective because it relates to the song as well because it relates to the iconography in the music video. Also in the song you hear a piano being played so the piano will have relevance to the song. This is also effective because the audience will be able to see that the artist is playing the piano.

Target Audience
A target audience is important when making a music video because you need to know what things you are going to put in and what things are apporpriate in your music video. For example if someone was making a music video for childeren aged around 7-10 you wouldn't put women in bikkins and gangsters im flashy cars because its not apporpriate for the target audience becuase they don't know what a Bugatti or a Ferrari is and also the parents wouldn't accept women in bikkin's in a 7-10 year old video.
I think that a target audience is important when making a music video because it couldaffect how well you sell something to a audience. For example when a artist such as Wiz Kalifa makes a music video for teenagers you see him wearing new nike shoes, snapbacks to sell himself and the products to the target audience because if the target audience see him wearing snapbacks they would want to wear it because they think that its cool and they aspire to be like him.
For my music video i will aim my target audience for people aged 20-30. This is because they will be able to relate to the song and also they will be able to relate to the lyrics of the song. This is also effective because the target audience will be able to build a strong relationship with the artist. Also the content that will be in the music video will also build a strong relationship with the audience becuase they will be able to see the contrast of emotions of the artist when he is going home and when he is away from home preforming. Also the clothing that my artist will wear will relate to the younger and the older target audience becuase in one location my artist will be wearing. In the studio location he will be wearing a suit. This is effective because the target audience will see that he is saficiated and profressional. However in the other location he will be wearing what the younger audience would normally wear. This will be effective becuase the younger audience will be able to relate to the artist. This would let the younger target audience also build a strong relationship with the artist. Also the locations of my music video will appeal to my target audience, this will be beinficial to my target audience because they will be able to relate to the artist and how emotional he is.
